We regret to inform you that we have had to close our online store to the public.

The recent and unprecedented 400% price increase in chocolate due to the global chocolate crisis has made it impossible for us to continue producing our products without imposing significant price hikes, which would make them unaffordable.

At Dechoc, our vision has always been to showcase 'proper' chocolate (without any of the nasties!) from around the world

 — including single origin and even bean-to-bar.

While this chocolate comes at a premium under normal circumstances, the current supply issues have exacerbated these costs. We could easily switch to cheaper Belgian alternatives, but that would not align with our commitment to supporting smaller plantations and preserving quality.

As many of you know, we are primarily a manufacturer. We focus on chocolate decorations for well-known bakeries and bespoke private-label products for brands across the UK. Moving forward, we will concentrate on this aspect of our business, as these larger-scale orders keep the prices lower and the chocolate flowing.

For those of you who are subscribed to our Bar of the Month subscription, rest assured that it will continue until your subscription ends. We are incredibly grateful for your support—thank you for being part of our journey.
